Chick in a Nest

I can’t get over how cool this is. I want a bird’s nest bed!

The giant birdsnest was conceived & created by O*GE CreativeGroup as a prototype for a new concept of an inspiring socializing space. Part furniture & part playground, the design could definitely be useful in tons of scenarios, mostly involving my place & lounging around.

Spanning 4.50m in diameter, the large version can host up to 16 people at once, perfect for informal meetings, giant birds, or, you know other things... There are three different sizes available to order. So if anyone wants to surprise me with a giant nest for my birthday in July I won't complain! :-)

Have a sunny weekend!

Get Your Lacquer On!

When it comes to adding a punch of whimsical freshness to any room in the house, you can't beat lacquer. From the French word lacre, meaning "a kind of sealing wax," lacquer is a term for a clear or colored hard, durable finish that can vary from a subtle sheen to a high gloss. White, bright & everything in between, lacquer adds a hint of shine to everything around it! See some yummy inspiration below!

April Showers Bring May Flowers!

Spring is in the air all around us. How do you go about bringing that feeling into your outfits or home so you feel that light & airy feeling inside as it is outside?

There are many different ways to bring flowers into your everyday life, both interior & fashion wise.

For your home, fresh flowers in a great vase can go almost anywhere. Floral prints on furniture, floral accessories, or floral wallcovering in the right rooms can add a nice springtime effect to your home. Of course you don't want to forget to landscape the outside as well because this serves as the transition from outdoors to indoors. Beware of with decorating with floral patterns though, you don't want to overdo it. Too many flowers can end up feeling suffocating. Stay minimal, simple & bright with your design. You should find that your home feels cheerful & warm.
